What does repatriation of mortal remains coverage include and how does it work?

Travel MedEvac will pay for reasonable expenses for the return of your mortal remains should you die on a trip. The insured’s family or legal power of attorney will provide Travel MedEvac the name of the receiving mortuary upon an insured’s death. Travel MedEvac will work in conjunction with the mortuary making the arrangements to return the insured’s mortal remains. Travel MedEvac will pay the mortuary direct for the expenses related to the repatriation of the insured’s mortal remains. This includes, but is not limited to, expenses for embalming, cremation, casket for transport and transportation to the primary residence mortuary.
