Are pre-existing medical conditions covered?
No. The Visitors to USA plans are intended to cover any new illness or injury that may occur during the policy coverage period. Pre-existing conditions are generally defined as any illness, disease, symptom, or injury that occurred or manifested itself prior to and including the effective date of your insurance.
Is it possible for me to get my insurance information right away so I can take it to the consulate?
Policy fulfillment is completed via email immediately following your online purchase. Simply click on the hyperlinks provided and print out your Certificate of Coverage. The Patriot America plan will also provide a letter for you to present to the consulate. This letter will contain your name, certificate number, coverage dates, and coverage level purchased, and list the country in which the coverage is intended for.
