There is coverage available for a pregnancy that occurs after a policies effective date. The effective date of a trip cancellation policy is 12:01 a.m. the day after your purchase date. This is when your trip cancellation coverage will begin. All other policy benefits — such as emergency medical, medical evacuation, travel delay, etc. — begin on your trip departure date.
Trip cancellation for pregnancy is not included in many of policies we represent. Let’s review the specific policy language for policies available on Travel Insurance Center that do provide this benefit.
